Life in plastic really is fantastic
Plastic is everywhere, so we might as well just make something good out of it. All it takes is a fresh new perspective, and suddenly a common material becomes the perfect tool for unleashing creativity with a purpose.
Even the kind that would typically be thrown away. For over 20 years, at Myreplast we’ve been collecting and repurposing pre- and post-use plastic, mainly collected from industrial sources. In lesser hands, it’d be thrown away, but here we give it a second life.
We like to see a whole new world in just a grain of plastic. At Nextchem’s plants, we collect all disposable plastic waste and turn it into granules. Similar to grains of rice in size, plastic granules are cost-effective, easily storable and extremely flexible, perfect for kickstarting an exciting new chapter in plastic’s life cycle.
Plastic granules arrive at Lazzerini, an Italian company specialized in crafting seats for public transport. It’s right here that our 100% recycled seat is born.
Buckle up! Our seats are installed on buses that can take you wherever you need to be. You’re sitting on one of them right now.
The great thing about our seat is that it will never stop going places. After serving their full lifecycle, our seats are sent back to Nextchem, where they will be transformed into granules to create other new seats.
