With almost 80 years of unrivaled expertise, we support every aspect of your project, from developing a urea plant to training your staff and keeping their knowledge up to date.
We provide technology licenses for new plants, as well as solutions for upgrading and optimizing existing plants.
Licensing models
NEXTCHEM, through its subsidiary Stamicarbon, provides different licensing models, including direct and indirect licensing. These flexible options allow us to adapt our services to the structure, requirements and risk profile of your project.
Indirect licensing
Through our indirect licensing model, we provide urea technology licenses, process design and related services through one of our approved licensed contractors.
In this model, you sign a licensing and Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) agreement with one of our licensed contractors to construct the plant. The contractor then becomes our customer.
We work with several global contractors that can offer the license on our behalf.
You may be considering different contract models to reduce project costs and risks. We therefore offer a range of urea licensing options, allowing us to tailor our services to the specific needs of your project.
Direct licensing
In the direct licensing model, you work directly with NEXTCHEM through Stamicarbon. You acquire the technology license, guarantees, services, engineering and process design package directly from us. This means that you become our customer.
You can work with one of our licensed contractors or, in close consultation with us, select a local contractor to carry out the engineering, procurement and construction work.
