One of the defining features of NODE Roma is its open and flexible infrastructure. Rather than being built around fixed pilot units, the facility can accommodate different pilot plants and demonstration units according to the needs of each project.

With space for up to 14 fully serviced pilot plants, it provides the infrastructure and technical support needed to test and refine chemical processes before they progress towards commercial application.

The Rome center’s capabilities are complemented by the expertise available elsewhere in the NODE network.

NODE Milano specializes in surfactants and chemical process development, as well as solids processing and product engineering.

NODE Basel, home to BUSS Chemtech, contributes extensive experience in gas-liquid processes, reactor engineering and process intensification. Bringing these capabilities into one connected network creates more opportunities for technical exchange and collaboration across disciplines.

A catalyst developed and tested in Rome, for example, can benefit from Basel’s reactor engineering expertise or Milan’s knowledge of formulation and solids processing.

Located at Via di Vannina 88/94, 00156 Rome, Italy,NODE Roma adds a dedicated space for catalysis, pilot testing and process demonstration to NEXTCHEM’s R&D network.

Together, the three NODE centers combine complementary expertise to support the development of proprietary technologies and their progress towards industrial application.
